Fountain Hills High School is unique in many ways, offering a myriad of academic and extra-curricular opportunities for our students. With a student population of approximately 700, we are the only four-year public high school of our size in the entire Phoenix metropolitan area. Being this size enables us to offer a personable and supportive school environment while providing outstanding opportunities for involvement, excellence, and success.
We welcome you to our website and hope that you'll find it useful and informative. Greetings Parents, Students, and Friends of FHHS:
We are now down to seven school days remaining in the year, three of which are half days for finals! Students have done a great job of remaining focused on task as we approach finals week, and I encourage you to support your child closely through the last day of finals.
Second semester final exams are May 21-23
We are on our half-day early release schedule during finals, with school dismissing at 11:15 each day. We are not providing lunch in the cafeteria.
Notes to Senior Parents
Upcoming events for seniors:
Requirements for Commencement Participation To participate in graduation, seniors must:
Event Attire Graduation, Baccalaureate, and Senior Recognition are dignified, special events for our students, parents, staff, and community. Students’ attire for these events should reflect the importance of these events. Male seniors must wear dress pants, dress shoes, and a dress shirt. Ties and suit coats are optional, but we encourage students to wear them. Female seniors must wear dress shoes and either a dress or dress pants with a modest top. Seniors may not wear shorts, t-shirts, jeans, tennis shoes, or flip-flops to any of these three events. We will not allow students who fail to follow these guidelines to participate in these events.
I look forward to celebrating a wonderful month of events with you to honor and recognize our outstanding graduates of 2013!
Sincerely,
Tom Brennan, Principal
