Falcon Fiesta is a Fountain Hills High School tradition, keeping graduates safe on graduation night. Learn more about this fun tradition, and how you can help.

What Is Falcon Fiesta?

Falcon Fiesta is a well supervised, drug and alcohol free, celebration of a major life event - High School Graduation - and is held in the FHHS gymnasiums after the graduation ceremony. Falcon Fiesta provides our graduates with a safe evening of music, fun, games, prizes, and food all night. The kids earn “Falcon Bucks” simply by participating in the games and contests. They then use their “Falcon Bucks” to bid on a variety of items at an auction held at the end of the event - things they will need for college life. Everyone will have an opportunity to leave with a prize and terrific memories. This event has been a huge success in the past with an average of 80 percent of the senior class attending.

The Falcon Fiesta Committee is responsible for raising the funds necessary to put on this event, as the high school does not sponsor this event in any way, other than providing the facilities. Falcon Fiesta is seeking corporations, companies, families, and individuals interested in being sponsors for Falcon Fiesta.

What Time Does This All Happen?

After the graduation ceremony, the doors open at 10:00 p.m. and are closed at midnight. No one will be allowed into the event after midnight. If a student decides to leave early, they are signed out and are not allowed to return.

Who Can Go To Falcon Fiesta?

All seniors! Guests (limited to 1 per senior) are allowed and encouraged, but must be high school age or older and may be a family member or friend (even from another high school). Guests MUST arrive with their senior.

Is There A Fee?

Yes. The fee is $50 per senior and $50 for a guest. However, once inside everything is free. We want all seniors to be afforded the chance to attend; so if this is cost prohibitive for your family, please contact your student’s counselor, as they are able to quietly make special dispensations for families who need it.

What Can You Do To Help?

Volunteer - Your help is needed the night of the event. Come share in the fun right along with your graduate; it really is a blast! If you are interested in helping at the event, please contact Volunteer Coordinator: Kay Engler at (480) 275-0875, e-mail,  or Web site.

Contribute/Sponsor - This event costs close to $25,000 to put on and the Falcon Fiesta Committee is responsible for raising these funds. The high school endorses this event, but does not sponsor this event in any way, other than providing the facilities, and tax credit monies cannot be used for this event. This is an all volunteer effort! Sponsorship can be in the form of financial contributions and/or merchandise for the auction event. All contributions are needed on or before May 7, 2010. Checks for financial contributions should be made out to “FH PTO – Falcon Fiesta 2010” and mailed to the high school. If you are interested in being a sponsor, please contact Robyn Stoor or Christine Schaeken.

This is an all-volunteer effort so to make it successful, we need everyone’s help - especially yours!
